I was deeply sorrowed to hear about Dea, he was truly a great man and will be missed by many. I lost my grandfather to pancreatic cancer a few years back and reading your blog brought back memories of our fight with cancer. My thoughts and prayers go out to you.

I am so impressed with the support that Dea received by his family and friends. His strength and resolve amazed me. This site has been so helpful in understanding his plight and to understand those relationships at home that he so proudly spoke of at work. The joy of his life was, most certainly, all of his girls. Remember, to keep the same postive outlook on life that Dea had in his life. It was truly an honor having know him.

Death is more universal than life; everyone dies but not everyone lives. Dea was one who truly lived life to the fullest. He will be missed.

He will be missed greatly as will his ability to find humor in the most stressful times. Thank you so much for sharing these precious moments with us. From my family to yours, our sympathy and prayers. Dea, thank you, for so many things.
