Turning 50 is a huge milestone for everyone. For my dad, its like a miracle. He isn't just turning 50. He is beating all of the odds, having survived a year since his prognosis and surgery.
We really want to do something special for his 50th birthday. So, on December 20th (Tuesday) we are throwing a surprise party. I need your help in letting everyone know. We'd love to have everyone stop by and wish him a happy birthday. I think it will mean a lot to him. We don't want to overwhelm him too much, so we are limiting festivities from 6pm - 8pm (just 2 hours). It will be a simple gathering, with an assortment of punch, cheese, and crackers. | in case you are wondering, his actual birthday is december 23rd. we decided throwing this on his birthday would be a tad too close to christmas for most people. since charlene doesnt get in from japan until the weekend before, we were forced to do this during the week. i hope it isnt too inconvenient for everyone! |
